Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 October 2026

Thinkfork is free to use. It can act on files on your computer and it relies on AI models that can be wrong, so please read the short sections on responsibility and warranty.

1. Using the app

By downloading or using Thinkfork you agree to these terms. You may use the app for personal or commercial purposes at no charge. You may not resell it, or redistribute it as your own product.

2. The assistant can change your files

The assistant can read, create, modify and delete files, and run commands, in folders you choose. Review what it proposes, keep backups of anything important, and only point it at folders you are comfortable with. You are responsible for what you ask it to do and for the results.

3. AI output

Responses are generated by AI models and can be incorrect, incomplete or unsafe. Check anything you rely on, especially for legal, medical, financial or security matters.

4. Your model provider and costs

You supply your own API key. You are responsible for your provider’s terms, usage and charges. We are not responsible for fees you incur.

5. Third-party software

Thinkfork includes open-source components, including the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) engine, under their own licenses (for example, DSH is MIT-licensed). The notices are included in the app (NOTICES.txt). The Thinkfork application itself is proprietary and its source code is not published; these terms apply to it, and do not limit any rights that an open-source component's own license gives you for that component. Thinkfork is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by DeepSeek. Other product names belong to their owners.

6. No warranty

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Thinkfork maintainers are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or files, arising from use of the app.

8. Changes

We may update these terms and the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. Contact: open an issue.
